Studio Furö

Studio Furö is founded by architect Filip Karl Edward Jonsson. He is educated at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and has worked for several years with the renowned architect Mette Lange.

Based in Stockholm, the studio works across Scandinavia and the Baltic region. Projects are approached regardless of location, with each place offering its own conditions, opportunities and context.

The studio works across architecture, design, craft and photography. Its practice is rooted in an investigative approach, with a particular interest in the inherent qualities of materials, the processes through which they are made, and their relationship to cultural and historical context.

The studio regularly works with a range of collaborators, selected according to the specific nature of each project. By bringing together different disciplines and perspectives, each project becomes an opportunity for a diverse and thorough investigation of the task at hand and the processes that shape it.

Photographer Ditte Auguste Mørkholt is a partner in the studio. All photographs are by her, unless otherwise stated.
